IXL and IDIS software - http://www.cs.bham.ac.uk/~anp/dm_docs/ixl/intern1.txt

IXL was one the first commercial discovery and data mining programs which was followed by IDIS: The Information Discovery System in 1992. These systems provide automatic discovery, as well as data visualization and anomaly detection. They are used both for Datawarehousing and Data Mining.
What is reported here is extracted from material independently published in various newspapers and other publications in the past several years. The reports suggest that the programs have been used in a variety of different application areas for several years. Intelligence Ware itself claims that they have found more rules in more databases than any other programs.
